A Day at Mesaieed Sealine Beach Resort

“To those who can dream, there is no such place as far away”

I know that summer has already hit Doha and these are the last days of the outing season. Before the final soar in temperatures hit this dune peninsula, I would like to show you the whole new Sealine Beach Resort at your favorite beach in the South of Doha.

Sealine Beach Resort by Murwab Resorts is one among the oldest in Qatar. Located in the South of Doha, Sealine Beach Resort is located 15kms further from the city of Mesaieed. Overlooking the golden dunes of Doha, Sealine Beach Resort is the perfect getaway for adventurous folks as well as for families at the same time. Thrilling sand dune bashes, Buggy rides and desert safaris are among the things to do while enjoying a staycation here.

It has been more than a month since I have visited this property after the much awaited renovation. The resort has so much to offer in terms of hospitality and food. The new villas and Chalets with private beach access shifts you from the crowded beaches to the tranquility that help you unclench your inner stress and enjoy the beauty and sanctity of the waters.

With the colorful and spacious lobby, lit beautifully with natural lighting, chic furnishing and Al Odaid restaurant, it is simple yet charming.

As you enter the courtyard there is a life-size chess board that would bring out the player in you or in my case, the photographer in me! The grass is green, beautifully mowed and every detail you find is cool. You can find an abundance of deck chairs around the courtyard and this makes you a bit confused where to lay back and relax. The cozy cabana by the beach with refreshments was my choice of lounge chairs. I do not tan myself in the sun and this shaded area was the perfect spot for me.

There are two swimming pools plus a kids pool and this would make you want to take a plunge before exploring the rest of the place. The pool side restaurant La Merenda that serves Italian pastas and pizzas, has some of the trendiest seating and wall decos.

Al Odaid, the restaurant in the lobby serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. While the mains require room for improvement, the salads, sushi and desserts are outrageously delicious! I had the tastiest Strawberry mousse and some other treats that I cannot recall the name of! Al Odaid also serves Friday Brunch at QR250 per adult and QR125 per child.

The Villas and Chalets are cozy cottages along the beach. The property is furnished with the coziest beds and lively and relaxing color themes that makes you want to live there beyond a staycation. The patio that leads to the beach is the most relaxing place ever! There BBQ area as well. I guarantee you will have a good time here!

  1. Ooooohhh I certainly love the ambience on these, or you are such a great photographer. I have always loved some Mediterranean feel on surroundings or interior.

  2. Ma sha Allah!!! This looks so luxurious and comfy!!! I love the huge ottoman in the lobby oh new gosshhh! And I love how they have a space for the kids. That’s such a plus because parents need them to be busy too.
